Workshop Summary : Marjorie Jergentz-Stout, CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) presented the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu. The Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy is an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. This is done by bringing balance to the body's energy, which promotes optimal health and well being and facilitates our own profound healing capacity. It is a valuable compliment to conventional healing methods, inducing relaxation and reducing the effects of stress.   

Barbara Blank, Recreation Therapy Assistant presented Ai Chi which is a simple exercise and relaxation program performed using a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of the arms, legs and torso.

Jerry Duncan, RMT (Registered Music Therapist) presented music therapy guided imagery and relaxation as a pain management technique.
