Description: Acupuncture is a technique in which very thin needles of varying lengths are inserted through the skin to treat a variety of conditions.
Workshop Summary: Our first AACSN workshop held at the Sunnyvale Senior Center was a success. Special thanks goes to our two guest speakers, Dr. Xue-Mei Liu and Dr. Ping Cheung Lee. Dr. Liu did her presentation on the"Role of Acupuncture and Traditional Eastern Medicine. Dr. Lee did his presentation on Acupuncture & Cancer. After Dr. Lee's presentation, the audience had an opportunity to participate in Dr. Lee's acupuncture demonstration.
